1XBET is one of the largest betting companies across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Founded in 2007, it operates in over 50 countries worldwide, offering a robust platform for sports betting enthusiasts.

Challenge

Increase the number of new users on the 1XBET website.

After a briefing and brainstorming session, we defined a clear goal: attract new users through Telegram channels run by tipsters and cappers (sports prediction experts) in Brazil.

Project KPI: $40 per lead.

Solution

Market Research

We analyzed the Brazilian Telegram landscape and identified the most influential tipsters and cappers. Our hypothesis was confirmed — quality channels were scarce, with roughly one effective channel for every seven underperforming ones.

Partnership Strategy

We crafted exclusive bonus offers for tipster subscribers and partnered with interested channels. During the campaign, we experimented with formats like clickbait designs and giveaways to maximize engagement.

Efficient Outreach

Potential channels moved through our sales funnel quickly — averaging 2 business days from outreach to agreement. Unlike bloggers on other platforms, Telegram admins responded promptly, making communication smooth and productive.

Risk Management

We found that about one in three channel admins proposed scam schemes. While anticipated, this insight allowed us to refine our funnel, quickly identifying and avoiding unreliable partners. We built a stop-list of admins to steer clear of in future collaborations.

Performance Tracking

After launching partnerships, we measured each channel’s effectiveness. This data-driven approach helped us pinpoint the most successful mechanics for user acquisition on Telegram, even amidst fierce competition from rival betting companies.

Results

From September to November 2023, we met the project KPI and attracted over 2,600 new users to 1XBET.

This campaign not only delivered results but also expanded our expertise. We mastered a new acquisition channel — Telegram and refined our internal processes. This success broadened our team’s perspective, enabling us to explore untapped sources with greater confidence and depth.
